Takoma Park, MD – The Washington Adventist women's basketball team fall to Bowie State University 67-50, Thursday evening in The Pitt.

After leading at half 26-23 the Lady Bulldogs went on an 18-4 run to start the second half. The Lady Shock would not recover from the run.

 

The Lady Bulldogs scored 24 points off of turnovers compared to WAU's 13. The Lady Shock edged out Bowie State in rebounds 45-43.

 

Bowie State was led by Bria Robinson's 22 points and seven rebounds. Jasmine McIntosh had nine points and five rebounds, and Jasmine Jacobs chipped in seven points and seven rebounds.

 

For WAU, Quianna Tiggle had 11 points and 11 rebounds. Briana McClain added nine points and four rebounds.

 

Next the Lady Shock will travel to Kutztown, PA to face the Golden-Bears of Kutztown University on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 6pm.
