Men's Basketball - Mon, Feb. 27, 2017

Takoma Park, MD- The #21 Washington Adventist University men's basketball team punched their ticket to the 26th Annual NAIA Division II Men's Basketball National Championship held in Point Lookout, MO March 8-14. 

It will be the first time in school history that a team has went to the national tournament in back-to-back years. The Shock earned an invitation by knocking off #4 Rochester College 78-63, in the A.I.I. Conference Championship. The Shock will await the selection show on March 1, to see who they will face in the first round of the tournament. The Division II championship is a 32-team, single elimination tournament featuring the champions of the Division II conferences, regional tournaments and at-large berths. 

 First Round on Wednesday, March 8 with eight games
Day Session - 8:30 am, 10:15 am, 12:00 pm, 1:45 pm 
Evening Session - 4:00 pm, 5:45 pm, 8:00 pm, 9:45 pm  

First Round on Thursday, March 9 with eight games
Day Session - 8:30 am, 10:15 am, 12:00 pm, 1:45 pm
Evening Session - 4:00 pm, 5:45 pm, 7:30 pm, 9:15 pm 

Second Round on Friday, March 10 with eight games
Day Session - 8:30 am, 10:15 am, 12:00 pm, 1:45 pm
Evening Session - 4:00 pm, 5:45 pm, 7:30 pm, 9:15 pm 

Quarterfinals on Saturday, March 11 with four games
at 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm, 7:00 pm  

Semifinals on Monday, March 13, with games at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. 

Championship on Tuesday, March 14 at 6:00 p.m.
