Washington, D.C.- The Washington Adventist University volleyball team defeated Trinity University Thursday night in straight sets 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-16). With the win it's the best start the Shock has had to a season in the last eight years.
The Shock were led by Amber Morman who finished the contest with a game and career high ten kills. D'shanee' Blake recorded a career high and game high 11 assists. Spring McCarthy chipped in with seven assists. The Shock improve to 3-6 on the season and will return to action Oct. 10 when they host Virginia Union University at 7 p.m.
