WAU Men's Soccer Releases 2023 Fall Schedule
TAKOMA PARK, MD- WAU men's soccer has officially released its 2023 varsity schedule with a squadron of new faces.
The Shock will open the season with 23 newly recruited international players. Under the helm of Athletics Recruiter and Head Men's Soccer Coach Daniel Carroll, the team boasts a roster of 53 players across the varsity and development squads. Twenty-seven are international, from England, Brazil, the Netherlands, and Japan to name a few.
"I would love to put this school on the map," said Carroll. "Some of these guys have played at the highest levels in their respective countries, so for me, creating a winning culture will only draw in the locals. They're going to know who we are, they're going to want to play for us, and it's only going to create a successful environment."
With two scrimmages in the books, the men's soccer team is ready to officially open the 2023-2024 season.
