WAU Cross Country Concludes Hood College Blazer Blitz
TAKOMA PARK, MD — The WAU men's and women's cross country teams finished their first 4k and 3k races of the season at the Hood College Blazer Blitz at Utica Park in Frederick, MD, on September 8, 2023.
For the men, freshman Rueben Kirkham finished 32nd with a time of 15:50.2, senior Gabriel Sanchez finished 35th with a time of 15:58.1, and senior Tafara Madhovi finished 52nd with a time of 22:36.2.
For the women, freshman Katharina Blume finished 13th with a time of 13:38.1, junior Mary Alao finished 33rd with a time of 16:53.6, and senior Marcela De Oliveira finished 41st with a time of 18:37.3
