WAU Competes in 2023 CAC Championship for the Second Time in Program History

LAWRENCE, KS — The WAU women's cross country team finished their final 6k race at the Continental Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship at Billy Mills Course in Lawrence, KS, Friday morning, November 3, 2023. Yesterday's race marks the second back-to-back appearance at the conference championship meet in program history.

 

The Shock finished 5th place out of six teams, with a total score of 148. Freshman Katharina Blume finished 29th with a time of 28:45.2, junior Charis McRoy finished 36th with a time of 31:08.8, senior Kelly Luck finished 37th with a time of 31:26.7, junior Mary Alao finished 42nd with a time of 33:40.3, and senior Marcela De Oliveira finished 46th with a time of 38:26.2.
