Washington Adventist University Men’s Soccer Opens 2025 Season in Baltimore, MD

Takoma Park, Md. – The Washington Adventist University Men's Soccer program has officially released its schedule for the upcoming 2025 season. Under the leadership of Head Coach Daniel Carroll, the Shock are set to take on a competitive slate that will test the team early and prepare them for success in Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) play.

The season kicks off at Notre Dame of Maryland on September 4 and Bluefield State on September 9, allowing WAU to set the tone for the year. The Shock will host Gallaudet University, Pitt-Johnstown, Goucher College, Penn State Harrisburg, and Fisher College at WAU Turf Field, where the team will look to defend home turf and engage the campus community with exciting match-day atmospheres.

Coach Carroll, who was named CAC Coach of the Year in 2023, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming schedule:

"I'm excited to embrace a new challenge this season here at Washington Adventist University. We've brought in local players who are hungry to be coached, eager to learn, and ready to grow both on and off the field. The journey ahead is one we'll face together with hard work, pride, and purpose. Can't wait to get started! "

WAU men's soccer looks to build on last year's progress, where the team showed resilience and growth under Carroll's guidance. With a mix of returning players and newcomers, the Shock are eager to make their mark in the 2025 campaign.
