WAU Women's Soccer Set to Open The 2023-24 Season On The Road

TAKOMA PARK, MD – Washington Adventist University women's soccer coach Krista Byrd Rodriguez has released the Shock's 2023 fall schedule. 

 

The first road trip to open the season, the Shock will travel to the nation's capital, Schuylkill, PA, to face conference mate Penn State Schuylkill on September 6.

 

The Shock will return home for a three-game swing, hosting Shaw University on September 10 for the home opener, Frederick Community College on September 12, and on September 17, the Shock will host Point Park University.

 

WAU will travel to Bel Air, MD, to face Harford Community College on September 18.

 

The Shock will return home, hosting Christendom College on September 20.

 

WAU will hit the road for a 2-game road swing, competing against Trinity Washington on September 22 and Montgomery College-Rockville on September 28.

 

Following the Raptors match, the Shock will return home to host Trinity Washington on October 1 and Penn State Schuylkill on October 2.

 

WAU will travel to Front Royal, VA, to face Christendom College on October 4, then return home to host conference mate Fisher College on October 8.

 

Next, the Shock will travel to Anne Arundel Community College on October 11 and return home for the final home game of the season, hosting Montgomery College-Rockville on October 19, where the Shock will celebrate their seniors.

 

The regular season wraps up on the road in Boston, MA, against Fisher College on October 22.

 

The 2023 Continental Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Championship will be held Nov. 9-11 in Lawrenceville, GA, hosted by Georgia Gwinnett College.
